Workspaces and members
Create a workspace, switch between workspaces, invite members, manage roles, and leave a workspace.
Workspaces and members
A workspace is where your applications, servers, services, provider connections, billing, API tokens, and member access live. Use separate workspaces when you want a clean boundary between clients, products, or organizations.
Switch workspaces
Open the workspace switcher in the rail or top bar. It lists every workspace you can access and shows a compact summary of applications, servers, and services in each one.
Choose a workspace to move into it. The dashboard, settings, command palette, and resource lists all follow the workspace you selected.
The switcher is only for moving between existing workspaces. Workspace creation lives in settings.
Create a workspace
Go to Settings -> Workspace and choose New workspace. Give the workspace a name and submit the form.
After it is created, strackt switches you into the new workspace and opens its dashboard. You can return to your previous workspace from the switcher.
Rename or delete a workspace
Open Settings -> Workspace for the workspace you want to change.
- Workspace name changes the name shown across strackt.
- Delete workspace removes a non-personal workspace when your role allows it.
- Personal workspaces cannot be renamed or deleted.
Deleting a workspace is permanent. Use it only when you no longer need the workspace or the resources it owns.
Invite members
Open Settings -> Workspace, enter the person's full email address, choose a role, and send the invitation. The invited person receives an email with a signed link to join the workspace.
If the address is incomplete or invalid, the form shows an email error before an invitation is sent. If mail delivery fails, the form shows that the invitation email could not be sent instead of leaving you on an error page.
Pending invitations stay listed on the Workspace page until they are accepted or cancelled.
Manage roles and access
On Settings -> Workspace, workspace owners can change a member's role, remove a member, or cancel a pending invitation.
If you are a member but not the owner, you can leave the workspace from the same page. After leaving, strackt returns you to your personal workspace.
